Anything about vampires or werewolves catches the attention of my girlfriend Cupcake. Ever since she saw that Anne Rice movie Interview with a Vampire, she’s been hooked. Which means that I get dragged to a lot of bad movies.

Like Blood and Chocolate, now on DVD, which is about people that turn into wolves and eat human flesh. Which is not to say that they don’t have their noble side.

There is a charismatic leader played by Olivier Martinez—another of Cupcake’s obsessions. And they trace their ancestry back to Romanian royalty…and there is a code of conduct about only hunting with the pack…and yada yada yada. And the whole thing is pretty silly if you ask me.

Still, the story is OK, the actors are pretty to look at, and if you’re into this sort of thing, I guess Blood and Chocolate will fit the bill. But I was bored to tears.
