In the world of casting directors, the difference between looking clever and looking clueless is often out of your control. You never know when an actor is going to make you look like the hero or the goat.

Who could possibly have known that Robert Downey, Jr. would be the perfect super hero in Iron Man? And who could have predicted that the pairing of Academy Award winner Dustin Hoffman with jovial jester Jack Black could work so well in Kung Fu Panda?

Black and Hoffman are among the Hollywood standouts providing voice work in this animated comedy from DreamWorks, a kid-friendly tale of a panda who longs to become a kung fu master.

The story is cute and the laughs are plentiful, but Black and Hoffman turn in brilliant performances that make Kung Fu Panda equally enjoyable for kids and adults and a solid choice for family viewing.
