I don’t usually have much trouble expressing myself but I’m stumbling for words to describe Little Children.

Now on DVD, it's an amazing piece of work that stars Kate Winslet as a bored housewife and mother who discovers a tempting diversion, in the form of an attractive and equally bored father of one, who lives down the street.

Under the watchful eyes of their nosy neighbors and the not-so-watchful eyes of their preoccupied spouses the two embark on a torrid love affair that ends not so much with tragedy as with resolution.

Little Children offers a great story and superb acting but let me warn you, there is also abundant nudity and a plotline line about a sexual predator that is pretty dark.

Make time to rent this one…and then take a good look around your neighborhood.
