OCEANS THIRTEEN
Rated PG-13
George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Al Pacino, Andy Garcia, Don Cheadle
Brian’s Rating
Ocean’s Thirteen is not as good as Ocean's Eleven, and not as bad as
the Ocean's Twelve, but I still love watching George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and
Matt Damon make these movies. They look like they’re having so much fun, you
can’t help but enjoy yourself!
Ocean’s Thirteen brings our merry band of thieves back together again
to avenge the foul treatment of their Dutch uncle, Reuben, played by Elliot
Gould. The story introduces Al Pacino as yet another evil casino owner and
brings back Andy Garcia’s character from Ocean’s Twelve.
I thought too much time was spent explaining the technology of the con at
the expense of showing our favorite players in actions.
And, I missed
Julia Roberts, who appears in the first two Ocean's, but is absent
from this one.
Other than that, I had a pretty good time. And wait until you
see Ellen Barkin in that red dress.
