Brian’s Rating
There's no question that fans of the HBO series Sex and the City will
fall in love with the feature-length antics of Charlotte, Miranda, Carrie
and Samantha.
The real question is whether those who didn't follow the TV series to its
now inadequate conclusion, will experience the same satisfaction.
And what about those who never watched the show and are unfamiliar with its
delightfully well-developed characters, embarrassingly honest story lines, and shockingly bawdy language?
To the
cave dwellers, the unenlightened, and anyone else who missed the boat the
first time around, the theatrical release of Sex and the City is your
chance to get in on this cultural phenomenon.
Thanks to a clever opening montage, new fans can quickly catch up on the
action of our four fabulous New Yorkers and from there, it's a sweet ride
filled with love, romance, heartbreak and forgiveness. I loved every minute
of it.
